I’m Chris Waldon. I’m a software developer, but in my free time, I play with dark forces better left alone. By this, I mean that I play with Linux.
I’ve learned myriad tricks by trying to do strange or difficult things with my operating system. Recently, I started documenting these learning experiences. I hope that they prove useful both for my own future reference and for the Linux-using world at large.
At the least, I hope you enjoy laughing at my mistakes.
The inspiration for this blog comes from:
– K Mandla’s Blog of Linux Experiences
– Zen and the Art of Motorcycle Maintenance
I put images of plants and other natural scenes at the start of my posts because I find them soothing. Partway through a frustrating debug, they’re exactly what I need. Plus, I want to showcase the work of some amazing photographers who’ve chosen to share their work under the Creative Commons License.
